People

Everyone you already stand alongside, your community, and the group inside it. A friendship here is one tie held by two people: it starts when you ask and it exists when they say yes.

Every friendship here is mutual, and either of you can end it, at which point it ends for both, one row in the table rather than two, so there is no version of this where you think you are someone’s friend and they do not think so.

Marcus, these are the people you can care for. The board is where you can show up for someone.

Everyone here shares Family Dinner Dallas–Fort Worth with you, and some also share Thursday Table. Nobody outside those can appear on this page, be searched for from it, or be sent a request.

Why friends exist at all, given you can already see everyone.

Two things. It is the line some dates sit behind, a remembrance is usually not something you publish to four hundred people, and it is the filter on the board when four hundred profiles is more than anyone wants to read. It is not a permission to give: you could always send anything to anyone in your community, and you still can. An MC is a different tie: one act they do for you, one you do for them, both agreed, and the other needs stay open.
